BIO

Joseph A. Foley, Esq. is a residential and commercial real estate attorney and is an associate with Barli & Associates LLC. Mr. Foley was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ and has lived here for the entirety of his life. He is a graduate of Pace Law School and obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Iona College. Mr. Foley is committed to assisting his clients in the sale or purchase of any kind of property they desire and is dedicated to ensuring that his clients are happy with the results of the transaction and maintaining that happiness throughout the process. Our clients have many important decisions to make during the process of purchasing or selling property, which can be very stressful. He is aware of the stress that comes with the purchase or sale of property and aims to shoulder that stress on behalf of his clients so that they may focus on all other aspects of their life.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Foley worked in the office of Frank T. Luciano, Esq, a longstanding and well-respected attorney in Bergen County, and assisted him with all aspects of his general practice from research to document drafting and more. During this time, Mr. Foley understood that practicing law was his calling and was determined to attend law school. After attending and completing law school, he passed the Uniform Bar Exam on his first attempt. Mr. Foley is currently a member of the New Jersey State Bar.

When Mr. Foley is not assisting his clients in the office, he enjoys playing and watching sports of all kinds and spending time with his family. Mr. Foley also enjoys challenging himself with complex research into many fields of study, such as history, engineering, automobiles, and others. He believes that you can never learn too much, regardless of which field is being studied, as it can continue to sharpen the mind. Continuing to grow and learn is essential in our practice of law.
