About Our Firm

Established in 2011, Barli Law LLC has and always will strive to provide personalized legal representation that fits the legal needs of our clients. We pride ourselves on showing how much we truly care about our clients’ well-being by compassionately listening to their side of the story, acting as guides throughout the legal process and maintaining open communication that promotes understanding and confidence in our ability to resolve any legal issue.

Working out of our law offices in Clifton, Tenafly and Fair Lawn, we handle a wide variety of legal matters, such as real estate transactions, difficult family law issues, personal injury claims, contract disputes and estate plans. I recently closed on a house. The whole process made me nervous. Large investment, a lot of moving parts. I reviewed the attorneys available through my work benefits. Barli & Associates had good reviews, so I reached out.

I'm sorry I can't turn the dial up to 11 stars!

Dan responded to every question the same day. At most I had to wait 2 hours. (I wasn't his only client!) Most importantly to me he answered each question with patience. I can imagine handling real estate cases I a lot like the movie, Ground Hog's Day - the same question over and over and over. We were in and out of attorney review in one day!

I can't begin to share how incredibly impressed I am with Dan and team. He was super thorough in everything he did when buying my home. Making sure everything was exactly as it should be prior to closing, even having the seller pay for shrub replacement at the closing table. Now, almost 7 years later he is my go to as a seller.

Dan handled the purchase of our home several years ago and since then I have looked to him to either help us directly or refer us to an attorney in the necessary area of law I needed on a couple of occasions and he has not let us down. Most recently my husband was involved in an accident where a woman walked directly in front of his car as he started to enter a roadway. He had already passed over any implied crosswalk at the stop sign but had to stop again where he could actually see oncoming traffic before entering the road. He had just started to move and there she was. She was not hurt and my husband stayed at the scene and did all he was supposed to do but he was issued three tickets, none of which seemed to fit what actually happened or the actual conditions at the intersection. I've read how localities will throw everything at you and if you don't contest, they make a lot of money. I don't know that this was true in this situation but we felt that only one of the tickets came close to what actually happened, but, ya know? not really. Within one day we were inundated by letters from a dozen lawyers wanting to handle his case and assuring us he could face enormous fines and possibly jail time. We realized this wasn't just a traffic ticket and we needed someone to handle it for us. We wanted someone we've done business with before so we called Dan once again to ask if he could handle it or could refer us to someone who could. He handled everything and my husband ended up with one far lesser infraction that fit the unintentional accident it was. My husband hasn't had a moving violation in years and he felt totally unqualified to deal with contesting the charges. Dan handled everything for us and got the best possible outcome. We are very happy with the outcome.
